This year, the Black Sheep is pleased to present Rijeka’s great painter Mauro Stipanov and his exhibition titled Crno nebo (The Black Sky). It is a fragment from his recent series Nebo/Il Cielo (The Sky), depicting the artist’s reflections on the mystery of the sky that he shows both as freedom and a frame. The oil paintings from the Nebo series were done quickly, over a period of three or four months in the late 2020.
