In the heart of Dubašnica, along it’s coastline, hides one of the crown jewels of the Island of Krk – drmun. What seems to be an everyday oak tree forest, is actually carefully designed forest pasture, a place where people, nature and tradition work together.
Stories of the forest, peoples and gods will tell you why drmun and forest management take their place in the culture of Malinska-Dubašnica even today, centuries after it’s landscape started to be shaped by it.
